What is Watch Party?
Watch Party is a system I built that allows many different users to connect to a lobby, sync up a video, and watch it together. It also has a basic chat system to allow basic back and forth messaging. It was originally made for watching anime with friends.
How does it work?
All you need to get started is a direct link to a video file or a link to YouTube. Simply navigate to the site, select "Create Lobby" and fill out the needed lobby information. After you start the lobby, the only thing the other users need to do is navigate to the site, click join on your lobby, and put in a username/password (if you set one). Then you simply play the video and it starts for everyone!
